In the framework of supporting EU Oman cooperation in fields of clean energy, the European Union Delegation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Sultanate of Oman, the EU-GCC Clean Energy Technology Network in partnership with the Oman Institute for Oil and Gas are organising a series of training seminars on Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Technologies and solutions, in March 2021.
In the context of Smart Energy Technologies and Digitalization, ATOM along with other projects was presented and used to discuss why and how to develop a professional curriculum for clean energy in Oman.

ATOM also participated in a workshop on “Artificial and human intelligence for community-empowered sustainable energy systems” organized during the IEEE International Conference on Communications, Control, and Computing Technologies for Smart Grids on 25–28 October 2021 in Aachen, Germany. The purpose of this workshop is to share and discuss experiences and insights from different H2020 projects on the use of AI based techniques for demand response services in energy communities and buildings and the efficient management of the present systems and assets. Furthermore, insights on drivers and barriers and other social aspects that influence the participation of end users in these communities will be presented, as well as aspects on interoperability, economic viability, legislation and a number of innovative energy community pilots across Europe.
