EURO 2021 is the largest and most important conference for Operational Research and Management Science (OR/MS) in Europe organized by EURO – the European Association of Operational Research Society and the Hellenic Operational Research Society (HELORS). This year’s EURO conference took place in a hybrid format from 11-14 July 2021.
IISA 2021 is the twelfth conference in the IISA series, technically co-sponsored by IEEE, the University of Piraeus and the Hellenic Mediterranean University.
In the framework of supporting EU Oman cooperation in fields of clean energy, the European Union Delegation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Sultanate of Oman, the EU-GCC Clean Energy Technology Network in partnership with the Oman Institute for Oil and Gas are organising a series of training seminars on Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Technologies and solutions, in March 2021.
An article " From Intelligent Energy Management to Value Economy through a Digital Energy Currency: Bahrain City Case Study " has been published in "Sensors, MDPI", by the EPU-NTUA team, as part of the special issue "Smart Energy City with AI, IoT and Big Data". This work is based on research conducted within the ATOM project and the EU GCC network.
ATOM participated in a webinar on artificial intelligence for enhancing energy efficiency organised by the EU-GCC Clean Energy Technology Network on the 21st of April 2020.
